These are the ones you'll miss when the kids are grown. Storytelling sessions are an incredible way to capture those moments forever.
No need to coordinate outfits, pose or travel. I'll come to you and photograph you and your family as you hang out at home or do something you love, together. It can be cozy and intimate or playful and fun. You decide what fits your family best!
Storytelling sessions are generally longer sessions with minimal posing. Location choices can be your home, a park, ice cream downtown, cookie baking in the kitchen or just about anything else you can dream up!

Like really, real? If you want to capture your family in the most authentic and stress-free way, consider a Real-Life session. Halfday or full day sessions document those real, everyday, beautiful moments in a photojournalistic style and put in an album for you to enjoy forever!

*A $150 Session fee is required to book your session and is payable online.
In the days following your session you'll receive a link to view your lightly retouched photos. You'll have the opportunity to select the ones you love and decide if you would like to upgrade your Collection. Your chosen photos will be carefully hand-edited and delivered in a gallery for you to view, share and download. Apogee Collections will be delivered as a fully-edited gallery in two weeks.
I also offer high-quality professional prints, albums and wall art so you can get your photos off the hard-drive and enjoy your memories every day!

Apogee Collection galleries will be delivered fully edited, 2 weeks from your session date. Elite and Essential Collection galleries will be delivered
1 - 2 weeks from when you chose your images. Artwork and albums will arrive 3-6 weeks after ordering.
When will we receive our Photos?
Yes! After viewing your fully gallery, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your Collection so you only pay for what you love. You may also choose to upgrade your collection at the time of booking.
Can I choose my collection after my session?
Yes! I will edit every single photo you receive. Your proofing gallery will receive light retouching. After you've chosen your images, based on the number included in your selected collection, those images will then be fully hand-edited with an end result consistent with the images seen in my portfolio.
do you edit all our photos?
Your home is a great option for either session. Storytelling sessions are shorter--up to two hours, while Day in the Life sessions could be at home, on a picnic, at the zoo, on a hike, at the beach, etc. Choose something you and your family love to do together or simply capture real life at home--snuggles on the couch, cookie baking in the kitchen, and counter-top tooth brushing!
What location should we choose for our Storytelling or Real-life session?
Storytelling and Real Life family photography is an unscripted, unposed style of capturing your family. It 's a beautiful way to capture your connection with each other without the stress of choosing the perfect outfits and keeping every hair in place. I simply hang out with you for a few hours and capture your beautiful real life.
You'll find yourself seeing your ordinary life through fresh eyes and will be able to cherish those fleeting moments for the rest of your life. ..and your children's lives!

Yes! My favorites may differ from yours so YOU get to choose which images you want to pay for. You'll receive a proofing gallery of 50-60 images to choose from. Select your favorites and I will fully edit them and deliver your gallery
